👏 Out now! E189 – Using Change Ninja Skills to Manage your Life with Tammy Watchorn - The Original Change Ninja! 👉 Dr Tammy Watchorn trained as a scientist before moving into the complex landscape of healthcare to lead change. After some slow starts she began to realise that her hard-won accreditation in the process of change leadership was meaningless: the only way to achieve success was to focus on people. By understanding those involved in change as individuals, not ‘stakeholders’, she developed a pragmatic way of making progress by stealth using ‘ninja’ moves. Her own neuro-atypical approach allows her to see things differently, to look at the whole rather than the parts, and to help others to see things differently too. There’s no accreditation or one-size-fits-all process for Change Ninjas but there is now, at least, a handbook. Tammy shares her stories and her approach to leading change widely on social media and in national media and industry publications. She’s also a regular keynote speaker at conferences. 🎧 Listen here: https://lnkd.in/es86jEhn 💪 Proudly brought to you by Deltek! #ProjectManagement #PMO #Leadership

An Awesome #podcast where Prof. Adam Boddison OBE was in conversation with Val Matthews and Dale Foong in an episode of their Project Chatter Podcast about the Pro's and Con's of joining professional associations and institutions. A brilliant conversation around the reputation of project management, what the institutions (like Association for Project Management and Project Management Institute) can, should and are doing to improve this as well as the delivery of the benefits projects should bring. This was (obviously), a little more APM focused. Anyway, check out https://lnkd.in/gfM34gFU for an amount of passion that should get to the surface wider and more often. And...loved the fact that #HongKong got a mention.....as the https://lnkd.in/gypZ6YRJ got mentioned as an overseas presence of APM. Currently led by Jim Pippin, but with lots of hard work of Steven Root and Mark Lomas as previous #chairmen. #APM #ProjectManagement #ProjectControls #Benefits PS. Prof. Bent Flyvbjerg was mentioned a few times as well.....

Our podcast hosting platform decided to take an unscheduled coffee break ☕ (technology, am I right?), which means we're a tad behind on releasing episodes on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and all those other places where podcasts magically appear. But fear not! We've got a stellar lineup of guests who've already spilled the beans on YouTube, and they're itching to invade your earbuds soon. All episodes are safely recorded and queued up—think of it as a suspenseful cliffhanger, but with project management insights instead of dragons. So, hang tight! Great conversations are on their way to your favorite podcast platform. Thanks for your patience—and maybe send some good vibes to our tech team! 😅 💪 Proudly brought to you by Deltek Prof (Dr) Adam Boddison OBE Tammy Watchorn - The Original Change Ninja Colin Ellis Greg Lawton Ian Heptinstall David Whitmore Olli Wade Micah Piippo Val Matthews Dale Foong Martin Curristan #ProjectChatter #PodcastBacklog #TechTroubles #ComingSoon #StayTuned

the video (sound on) shows Gemini successfully watching a video of me engaging with my laptop, identifying the sequence of events, and identifying which interactions bring which effects. This is the latest in a series of tests of Gemini video interpretation, where I started with easy and short, and each time it passes, I give it a harder test. some people may remember me saying what one thing project directors should look out for this year, in terms of foundation model capability, when Project Chatter Podcast kindly had me on in January. The clip is here (https://lnkd.in/eHNpZKeY) but basically I was saying look out for when you can record your working day by video and give it to the model as showing how you like to work, so it can do some of that work for you. So yes, you are from now on able to share with these models how you work, and ask it to draw up your modus operandi, for yourself, for the model, for your Chief of Staff, or for your assistant. You can then ask it to suggest improvements, as well as how to proceduralise some of your key working practices. by the way , the CEO of Anthropic's important essay came out this week.
