The challenge now lies in defining, measuring, and comparing social impact within real estate to ensure its contributions are genuinely beneficial to communities and society. We are delighted to launch the RED Foundation's Data Standards Catalogue, an attempt to begin to collate data standards that are relevant to the built environment and accelerate their discovery and re-use. We hope this will reduce the effort needed to discover relevant and suitable data standards and support good data practices for the built environment, alongside our Data Ethics Playbook (https://lnkd.in/dEjV8Ws), the UK BIM Framework, and emerging work on the refreshed Information Management Initiative (scheduled for launch in November this year). If you are a standards publisher, and would like your standards to be included in the catalogue, please send them to Chris Lees along with the data shown in the catalogue. The Data Standards Steering Group will review and curate all entries for consistency.
