Our Founder and CEO Sarah Sturmey was honoured to attend #RoyalVisit with HRH the Duchess of Edinburgh to talk about why our work with young people leaving care is so important Alongside other charities supported by Cheshire Community Foundation discussions focussed on the challenges charities are facing with funding shortages, rising needs and increased complexity. We shared solutions and reflected on the incredible capacity within charities to respond flexibly, quickly and creatively to meet the needs of communities. We are conscious of a concerning increase in charities struggling to keep their doors open which is not only a tragedy for the communities they serve, but a huge loss to the sector when so many others are on their knees. if you would like to support Pure Insights work with young people leaving care, or you own/work for for a business who may consider joining our corporate sponsorship programme. We were honoured to receive a #RoyalVisit last week from Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh, to share how our varied grants are supporting residents on the themes of poverty, disability, and emotional health & wellbeing. Thank you to our host David Bayley at the Church of the Resurrection Macclesfield, and Fabienne Donbavand who runs the CoRE Pantry, demonstrating their vital role in increasing access for local people to nutritious food and wider support. We look forward to sharing more about the charity attendees, impactful discussions, and inspiring stories from this special day in our upcoming posts.
