    I asked Oana Iordachescu how we can work better with people from different cultures Her advice: 👉 Small intentional efforts go a long way 👉 Establish rituals in your teams (e.g this is how we provide feedback) 👉 Create cultural cheat sheets for teams to understand each other (this might include how they greet each other or build rapport) The Nike example in the video underpins why these work As we're hiring more and more global or remote talent these topics only feel like they're getting more important What's worked in your teams?     Signing off for the holidays! Far too many people to tag, but a huge thanks to everyone that has supported both PURPL and myself this year 💜 Proud of some of the wins. We pushed pretty hard; some bets paid off and some didn’t. Here’s my 2024 wrapped... Personal milestones: ↳ Raised investment for my company ↳ Reached ~1M people through my LinkedIn content ↳ Moved back to London ↳ Started a podcast ↳ Hosted an event in the Gherkin Purpl milestones: ↳ Rebuilt the learning platform from scratch ↳ Launched 28 new courses ↳ Started supporting new recruiters at companies like Monzo ↳ Delivered recruiter training to over 250 out of work recruiters ↳ Average course rating of 4.63 / 5 from 1,000+ course completions Some areas to improve for next year: 🎯 Grow our user base. We grew but missed the target I was aiming for 🎯 Take a bit more time off. Proud of pushing hard but the tank is pretty empty right now 🎯 More connection. Spent most of the year working alone and miss collaborating in-person Let’s see how I do… Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, see you in 2025 legends ✌️

    The best Christmas present for Talent Acquisition ❣️ I got an amazing early Christmas present from PURPL Great initiative from Joe Atkinson who offered free access to peer-to-peer learning platform for all recruiters who are looking for a job.  I’ve learned a lot. Some courses were a refresher, allowed me to structure the knowledge I already had, others offered a different angle to things I was already doing, and few were a game changer.
