The needs of military families are unique, and at RAFAKidz we take extra care to make sure those needs are met. For parents who are deployed, this can be as simple as using our mobile app which allows you to get regular updates on your child’s progress, and what they have been up to at nursery, straight to your pocket, even when you are away. RAFAKidz currently operates eleven nurseries at RAF Boulmer, Odiham, Cranwell, Leeming, Brize Norton, Digby, Honington, Shawbury. Cosford. MOD Boscombe Down, MOD Abbey Wood and MOD Worthy Down plus three locations at RAF High Wycombe, Walter's Ash and Medmenham. Within each of our settings we provide experiences that are special, unique and child-focused. All our nurseries are fully OFSTED registered, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to safeguarding and quality assurance. As a not-for-profit trading subsidiary of the RAF Association, RAFAKidz can focus on providing a high-quality service to RAF families, rather than on making commercial profit.

Suzy, the SEND & Inclusion Lead at RAFAKidz, led the informative session, offering valuable insights, techniques, and resources to enhance our support for the children under our care. It was a wonderful night of education, teamwork, and motivation - fuelled by doughnuts! 🍩 A big thank you to Suzy and the Cranwell staff for their dedication and passion in driving positive change. With a focus on supporting children under two. Our teams attended workshops and seminars on attachment & bonding, self-regulation, child development, partnership working and outdoor environments. The Brize Norton team were guest speakers alongside the Community Playthings UK team. It was an honour for them to be part of the Community Playthings ‘Calm Corners’ journey at all stages - from prototype, to trials, discussion and now appearing in their catalogue. Our nursery teams can’t wait to share all their new knowledge and ideas in their nurseries!
