Greater Anglia is offering a new three-week placement for young people currently out of work to gain vital skills for the workplace. The ‘First Step Into Rail’ scheme will give the 12 successful candidates a wide range of skills to use in any future jobs on the railway or in other industries. Cubic Transportation Systems has announced the launch of an innovation centre with the mission of determining how emerging technologies can solve challenges in public transit.
