At Rapha, it’s our purpose to inspire the world to live by bike. All of us believe that it’s never just a ride.

About us

Founded by Simon Mottram in London in 2004, Rapha makes the world’s finest cycling clothing. For 15 years, our products have redefined comfort, performance, and style for cyclists from absolute beginners through to WorldTour professionals. Born from a love of the sport, Rapha regularly organises and sponsors unique rides and events. The Rapha Cycling Club was founded in 2015 to bring cyclists together, and today there are already more than 17,000 members worldwide. Our 21 Clubhouses across Europe, North America and Asia have become hubs for RCC members and local cyclists, offering a café space and stocking the latest products. Rapha is proud to have worked with the sport's best athletes from its earliest days. First, as title sponsor to the British UCI Continental team Rapha-Condor from 2005 to 2012, then as clothing supplier to Team Sky from 2012 to 2016. We continue to work at the top tiers of professional cycling with the women’s UCI WorldTour team CANYON//SRAM since 2016, and, after publishing a two-year study on the state of the sport titled the Rapha Roadmap, we have returned to the men’s WorldTour with EF Education First Pro Cycling from 2019.

Chapeau to Shift Cycling Culture for the publication of their first Climate Action Pulse Check. We are proud to have contributed alongside brands from across the cycling industry. The findings of the survey indicate a disconnect between industry representatives and consumers about the sustainability efforts in the cycling industry. We look forward to applying the learnings in our on-going sustainability journey, as well as exploring opportunities to further collaborate with industry peers to inspire broader change. "Collective action to drive change across the cycling industry is key. The work Shift Cycling Culture continues to do, collating, informing and outlining the current and future states of the industry is integral to this. Their report provides a toolkit for action." Adam Gardiner, Sustainability Manager at Rapha. Read the report here: https://lnkd.in/eiAex9W4

Launch of CLIMATE ACTION PULSE CHECK 2024 Results    We are proud to present the first edition of the Climate Action Pulse Check, a global survey that will function as an annual barometer of climate action progress within the cycling industry.   We gathered insights from 84 industry professionals across 16 countries and 240 cycling consumers from 19 countries.    The report showcases how companies in the cycling sector are integrating climate action into their strategies, including case studies from Apidura, Brompton Bicycle, OneUp Components, Rapha, Riese & Müller GmbH and Vittoria Group. It also highlights how cycling consumers perceive the industry's sustainability efforts and what they want to see more of from companies. It’s our hope that everyone reading this Pulse Check will not only find it insightful, but will recognise its value as a tool to accelerate climate action in their company and network. Share it with your teams or leadership. Spark conversations in your communities. See it as a start to incorporate sustainability into your business strategy. Thank you to everyone who participated in our first Climate Action Pulse Check.  Find out more and download the full report here: https://lnkd.in/eiAex9W4    #cycling #cyclist #sustainability #pulsecheck #netzero #climateaction #climatechange #circulareconomy #shiftcyclingculture

This time two weeks ago, Rapha team members from London to LA were downing tools and saddling up for the first of our company rides this year.  In Miami, this meant scorching near-100-degree temperatures, whilst the Berlin team were treated to some truly biblical rain. Kudos to everyone, whether our soigneurs in the support vehicles or ride leaders out on the road, for putting on a great show. It was wonderful to take time out of our normal working week and reconnect over our shared love of a life on two wheels!

At Rapha, we want to inspire the world to live life by bike. This starts right at the heart of our culture, with our team all around the world. Each year, we set riding goals and decide what we would like to achieve over the next 12 months. From taking part in our Getting Started in Cycling Programme, to embarking on a riding adventure across an entire continent. We want to celebrate one of our many success stories from 2023, which comes from our Front of House team member, Joseph Madgwick, who is based at Rapha Works in London. Last year Joe set himself the goal of embarking on a bikepacking trip through mainland Europe, inspired by the long-distance adventures of others in the Rapha community. As October rapidly approached, and after getting kitted out and geared up with the help of his colleagues, Joe began his journey from Kings Cross on the train to Brussels and dived straight into a mammoth 220 km day to Compiegne, followed by another 120km on the beautiful Eurovelo 3 to Paris. This continued with an overnight train to Nice before two days in the saddle to Mont Ventoux in tumultuous weather conditions, which led to sheltering in a hedge before his gear shifters ran out of battery. A taxi-ride later Joe found himself in Malaucène at the foot of Mt. Ventoux. His ride up Ventoux was the perfect  finish to an incredible trip. We would love to hear your riding goals for the year in the comments below, and look forward to sharing more stories from our team in 2024!

At Rapha, we believe in building a community where our team members thrive in their professional and personal lives. We’re immensely proud to have launched our renewed global commitment to parents at Rapha, offering 26 weeks full pay to Primary Caregivers and 6 weeks full pay to Secondary Caregivers. With team members spanning across 12 countries, our objective was to ensure that our parental leave was straightforward and offered a consistent level of global support. As part of this commitment, we also developed a set of support guides around Fertility and Pregnancy Loss, recognising that the journey to parenthood can be challenging for many. Through these guides, we hope to raise awareness around the impact these experiences may have on someone at work. Our enhanced commitment to parents is just one example of our ongoing support to the well-being of our team members and their families at Rapha.
