⚽ At the home of Reading Football Club, just the kick of a ball away from our Reading HQ, our Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) trainers partnered with STAR - Supporters Trust at Reading FC and Talking Royals, a peer to peer support group, to train a group of new Mental Health First Aiders to support football fans at matches and beyond. At Bayer, we’re proud to have a team of Mental Health First Aiders providing a first point of call for mental health support, available to employees across the business. Our MHFA trainers, Yvonne and Lucy, have trained over 100 members of #TeamBayer to support themselves, colleagues, friends and family. Mental health challenges can affect anyone, at any time, which is why we were pleased to extend our Mental Health First Aid initiative beyond the workplace and into our local community. With further training sessions in the works for 2025, together we hope to create an inclusive and supportive environment, while helping to tackle the stigma surrounding mental health in football. #MHFA #ReadingFC #MentalHealthFirstAid
