Last Friday, we embraced the opportunity to press pause and recharge during our #unplugday - an initiative that allows our colleagues to take a step back, disconnect and focus on what matters most. It’s a day dedicated to reflection, rejuvenation and personal growth. One colleague who truly made an impact with her day off was Ellen Norman. Armed with a copy of ‘Lessons in Chemistry’, Ellen visited her local donor centre to give plasma. This amazing act can make a massive impact by providing life-saving medicine for people with rare diseases, immune disorders and genetic conditions. Huge kudos to Ellen for her selfless contribution! Let's continue to inspire and support each other in making a positive difference! #GivePlasma

Members of our team recently got together to mark The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) Global Women’s Get Together and International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Founded in 1919, IUPAC is an authority on digital standards in chemistry, chemical nomenclature and terminology, creating the common language of chemistry for more than a century. This event was a powerful moment to reflect on what it’s like to be a woman in science, to acknowledge the barriers we may face and to explore where they stem from. The conversations were not only eye-opening but also a chance to pause, connect and share experiences with one another. A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise this enriching session and to all our amazing teammates who participated. Your voices and perspectives truly made this event something special! #WomenInScience #WomenInSTEM #InternationalDayOfWomenAndGirlsInScience
