Last week our Sales Training Manager Kevin McCann achieved a PB in his 5th marathon of 2024 (3x standard marathon distance and 2x ultras) Kevin was a little disappointed because, even though he trained hard he didn't do as well as he'd hoped. A bad tummy at mile 13, cramp, hamstring pain at mile 20 and it lashed with rain for the whole race. With that all in mind he still achieved a very respectably time of 4h 27m! The reason Kevin was a bit annoyed with himself is that, although he'd trained hard, he'd unfortunately skipped most of the strengthening exercises and he didn’t do anywhere near the amount of stretching that his plan had said was required. The importance of appropriate training was plain to see this weekend… with that tenuous link in mind… Kevin McCann is “running” (see what we did there) FREE Automatic Slider and Bi fold door training on Monday 9th of December and he has a session for Automatic Swing doors coming up on Monday 6th of January at 10.30am.
