  • Operations for #Red7Marine have concluded at Canary Wharf Group's Eden Dock, where we’ve been supporting Bachy Soletanche with our specialist marine equipment, including our Haven SeaStabler modular barge and C5 floats. The project began with the mobilisation of equipment and the temporary removal of the 70t Loverose Way Bridge to allow access to Eden Dock.   Our specialist marine kit has been used to support the piling scope which included the installation of two 2.1m diameter, 29m deep rotary bored marine piles to support a new 60m long, 160t steel footbridge, which is currently under fabrication and set to be floated into position next year. Given the unique nature and location of this project, it involved a high level of pre-construction planning, including: 🔹 Deck strength assessments 🔹 Sea-fastening design 🔹 Detailed stability calculations for all plant 🔹 Design modifications for the pile gate   Great to have been a part of this project, in the heart of London and we look forward to seeing the next phase develop in 2025. #MarinePiling #London #Marine #MarineIndustry #MarineCivils #CivilEngineering

Our Haven Seariser 2 is currently being demobilised following a 12-month charter with GEORGE LESLIE on behalf of Caledonian Maritime Assets for the Kennacraig Ferry Terminal upgrades in Scotland. 🚢 The 250-tonne deck capacity jack-up was used as a support platform for piling operations, delivered by LDD (Large Diameter Drilling Ltd.), including: • Construction of a new steel tubular piled quay wall in front of the existing sheet pile wall • Installation of rock-socketed vertical piles for a new ramp structure The upgrades form part of the New Islay Vessel Enabling Works project, covering Kennacraig, Port Ellen, and Port Askaig - enhancing Scotland's vital ferry infrastructure. Great working alongside GEORGE LESLIE as a trusted partner on this long-term project. Wishing the team continued success as they push toward completion. 👏 #CivilEngineering #Infrastructure #Engineering #MarineCivils #MarinePiling #Piling #FerryTerminal #PortDevelopment #PortDevelopments

  • Earlier this year, #Red7Marine supported Principal Contractor Bachy Soletanche in delivering a key element of Canary Wharf Group’s Life Sciences Cluster project.   Using our Haven SeaStabler modular barge, Bachy Soletanche installed 1500mm and 1800mm diameter rotary marine piles under polymer—an important phase in the development the 823,000 sq ft One North Quay - Europe's tallest and most sophisticated purpose-built commercial lab.   Red7Marine supported throughout the pre-construction phase, providing RAMS, lift plans, and engineering checks for vessel stability during piling operations, including CAT III checks, and working under approvals from TFL and DLR due to the close proximity of the station at Canary Wharf’s North Quay.   Set to be the largest commercial wet lab space in Europe, this project represents the first phase in the creation of a world-leading centre for health and life sciences, it was great to work alongside the team at Bachy and the Canary Wharf Group on this exciting scheme. 🌍💡 #MarineConstruction #LifeSciences #Innovation #Red7Marine #MarinePiling #Piling #MarineIndustry #MarinePlant

Earlier this year #Red7Marine was involved in ExxonMobil Fawley Power Station’s Project Fast which involved the unique challenge of transferring 18 oil and gas processing units, which are to form part of the overall £800m project to construct a new low-sulphur diesel facility at the refinery. Working with the team at Sarens on behalf of end client, ExxonMobil, Red7Marine mobilised the Typhoon 3000 from its naval base in Portsmouth round to the project site in Fawley. The project, with many logistical challenges, required the transfer of nearly 5,000T (4,899.6). worth of refinery equipment from the water to the shore. This has been a great project to be involved with, paving the way for cleaner and more efficient energy generation in the UK, as well as working closely alongside the SMS Group | Ship Repair | Marine Interiors | Marine Engineering | SC SQEP to deliver the scope of works safely and efficiently. ⚡️🌊 Find out more about the project here: https://lnkd.in/ejSrkiUY #Marine #MarineIndustry #JackUpBarge #Barge #Energy

When global subsea solutions specialist, N-Sea Group needed a reliable partner for its critical cable repair project in the Irish Sea, they turned to #Red7Marine for a turnkey solution. ⭐ With complete delivery of two jack-up barges, supporting tugs, a 220t telescopic crawler crane, accommodation and catering service, Red7Marine’s end-to-end package enabled N-Sea to focus on its project goals of completing the repair, safely and efficiently under a tight programme. Cable installation and an offshore repair joint have been executed from Red7Marine’s Haven SeaSeven 400t jack-up barge. With involvement in the early stages of N-Sea’s bid, Red7Marine’s in-house team fabricated bespoke temporary works for the project to execute the cable installation and jointing works, and modifications were made to one of the company’s existing cantilever platforms to support the jointing habitat and cable chutes. Red7Marine’s 250t Haven Seariser jack-up barge acted as the accommodation and cable reel storage/spooling platform, working adjacent to the Haven SeaSeven with gangway access between the barges. Nine accommodation modules and welfare facilities were installed onto the deck of the Haven Seariser, enabling 28 crew to live on board the jack-up whilst the repair took place. To facilitate the modules and 106t cable reel, Red7Marine’s engineers designed and fabricated grillages, mezzanine deck infrastructure and various sea-fastenings. It was great to push the capabilities of the barges and end with a solution that worked for N-Sea and the project requirements, utilising the capability of the two assets. Our engineers also looked after all feasibility for the jack-up operations, including floating and jacked stability, leg penetration assessments and RAMS. 🌊 #Marine #MarineIndustry #Maritime #Offshore #OffshoreWind #Renewables #JackUpBarge #JackUp #MaritimeIndustry #RenewableEnergy #OffshoreWindFarm

👉𝗡-𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗮👈 Our client suffered a fault in one of their four subsea cables connecting the offshore substation to the onshore substation. As a result, the export cable was taken out of service, resulting in a significant reduction in transmission capacity. N-Sea Group were awarded the contract to carry out a turn key fast response cable repair, in what was a very challenging and exposed nearshore location, with water depths ranging from 0m to 2m LAT. Extensive fault finding and engineering resulted in the installation of a spare cable section between the Transition Joint Bay (TJB) onshore and KP1.0 offshore. N-Sea, as the principal contractor and designer under CDM, were required to deliver all necessary engineering, analysis, and preparations for both onshore and offshore operations before going on to execute the following works.
