At Revantage we recognise that part time roles can be a great option for talented and experienced individuals who want the freedom to manage other commitments, including those looking to rejoin the workforce after a career break or returning from maternity leave. We currently have a part-time/flexible role available in our legal team, with similar opportunities available in legal teams across the wider Blackstone real estate portfolio, including at exciting businesses like iQ Student Accommodation and Fora. If you are interested in hearing more about these roles, or know any lawyers that would be a great fit, please contact Shirley Mascarenhas Assoc. CIPD.

Read Julian Carey's first interview as CEO of Indurent in Green Street News: Europe, where he discusses the recent launch of the new business, its ambitious growth plans and his early experiences that inspired a career in the industrials sector. You can read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gGisJCvh
After a whirlwind first three months, our CEO Julian Carey sat down with Green Street News: Europe Guy Montague-Jones to discuss life so far as Indurent, the journey behind bringing together two industry-leading companies and what the future holds both in terms of development, acquisition and new technologies. 🗣: “The rationale for putting the two businesses together is to take the proven development capability and land bank of St. Modwen Logistics, and put it together with the best-in-class operating platform of Industrials REIT. The two together are stronger than the two apart fundamentally.” Read more here (£): https://lnkd.in/gGisJCvh

This weekend Michael Smith and Jack Stacy will take on the mammoth task of scaling 24 peaks in just 24 hours to raise much needed funds for SeeAbility. With just 9% of their £150,000 fundraising target left to go, you can help them get over the line by donating here: https://lnkd.in/e84sPb9y We wish them the best of luck for the challenge ahead!
Looking for some inspiration this morning? If so, then look no further than our Revantage Real Estate colleagues Michael Smith and Jack Stacy who will be tackling the enormous challenge of climbing 24 mountain peaks in 24 hours. The pair will be aiming to raise £150,000 for the SeeAbility charity, both motivated by personal circumstances. At 19, Michael and his twin brother both lost the majority of their sight because of a rare disease. For Jack – who recently became Chair of SeeAbility – the challenge is also deeply personal. His brother, Matty, was born prematurely and spent the first four months of his life in an incubator. The oxygen treatment that saved his life caused him to lose his sight. On 7 September, Michael and Jack will attempt to climb 24 mountain peaks in the Lake District, including Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England. They will cover at least 28 miles, while ascending a total of 12,000 ft. Throughout the challenge, Michael and Jack will be tethered together, with Jack providing sighted guiding and support the whole way. They will have to work in complete unison to complete the gruelling challenge which is officially graded ‘extreme’. To read more about this amazing challenge, the stories behind Michael and Jack’s motivation, or to support their efforts, follow the links below and in the comments. https://lnkd.in/epNzmfCi

Last week, we visited a number of iconic London arches as part of a tour organised by our portfolio colleagues at The Arch Company. This included arch spaces in Southwark Street, America Street, Old Union Yard and Scoresby Street. It was impressive seeing the diverse range of businesses that occupy these unique spaces, from gyms and restaurants to offices, with the tour showcasing how The Arch Company is supporting London businesses and making spaces for them to thrive in dynamic environments. It was also interesting to see enhancement works underway, preparing spaces for new businesses to move into. Thank you to Johnny Christofi and Sahaba Begum MRICS for showing us around, and Andrew Mason MRICS for organising the trip. #TheArchCompany #SmallBusinesses #Community #Innovation #London
