THE FAIRFAX, MANCHESTER Exciting progress at The Fairfax for our client, Olympian Homes! Block One has now reached level 28, with topping out expected on Block Two in March—bringing both towers to their full height. Once complete, we will begin work on the roof, marking another key milestone in the project. NATIONAL APPRENTICE WEEK 2025 At RG, we’re proud to celebrate the incredible impact of apprenticeships in shaping the future of construction. Meet Emma Willans, one of our talented apprentices, who has been with RG for just over a year and is already making a huge impact on-site. Emma is currently studying for her Level 4 Site Supervisor Qualification balancing both hands-on experience with academic learning. She has been instrumental in managing both Block A and B on our site Feeder Road in Bristol, overseeing critical elements like the installation of 623 bathroom pods, all with the support of our internal management team. Choosing an apprenticeship has given Emma the perfect mix of practical experience and career development, and we’re thrilled to support her journey. From gaining her SMSTS and TWS certifications, Emma is embracing every opportunity to grow her skills. HAWTHORNE HOUSE, STRATFORD Exciting progress at Hawthorne House in Stratford! It has been a while since our last visit to this fantastic project for Unite Students, and a lot has changed. 🚧 The concrete frame has now reached level 17, marking steady progress in the structural development. 🔋 Our two tower cranes are now powered by battery packs and the site is being powered by a substation making this a diesel free site, improving both efficiency and sustainability! 🏗️ The pre-cast concrete panels are complete up to level two, bringing the building closer to its final form. ARENA POINT, LEEDS Exciting progress captured at Arena Point PBSA in Leeds which will be the tallest building in Yorkshire. Our latest footage showcases some of the milestones on this project for Olympian Homes. The building's core has now reached full height, with stair core one fully complete and stair core two surpassing level 21. ESG HEADLINES 2024 2024 Was a great year for our Environmental, Social, and Governance targets. Thank you to everyone involved in driving these goals. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME Anna Keen has been delivering a six-month Leadership Development Programme to the team at RG. This week’s session focused on the team as leaders, exploring their values, and building resilience. This ongoing development is a great investment in the future of RG. Meanwhile, our 2024-2025 year-out students, graduates, and apprentices have been busy, working on their SMSTS certification. This five-day course covers all relevant legislation affecting safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries.
