We had a special visit this week from Cat Radio’s very own Dave Foulkes! Dave visited Richmond Villages Nantwich to spend time with Anthonie Van Rooyen, our Head of Hospitality, where they talked about our unique 3-stage offering as well as the array of dining options and events that our residents have at their fingertips. Earlier this month, we were thrilled to sponsor the Wantage Literary Festival, held from 28th October to 9th November. We proudly supported the talks by Max Hastings, Wendy Joseph and the legendary #LarryLamb. Larry, best known as Mick Shipman from #GavinandStacey, shared his fascinating journey with Nicola Cornick. From his early career in the oil industry to his time on Who Do You Think You Are?, Larry's stories were captivating. He also debuted his poetry ahead of next year's book release - what a treat! Thank you to everyone who joined us for this fantastic event.

This week at Richmond Villages Wood Norton, a celebration was held for all members of staff with 5 years of service. Richmond Villages Wood Norton opened in March 2019, and we still have over 20 colleagues here from the beginning. We now look forward to the next milestone!

We are happy to announce Richmond Villages is a finalist in a reputable award! Our retirement village is a finalist in the What House Awards 2024 in the “Best Retirement Home Developer” category. The awards are taking place Friday 15th November 2024 at the JW Marriot in London. We look forward to sharing all the exciting updates with you at the ceremony! #retirementvillage

We are excited to announce Richmond Villages Cheltenham is a finalist in a reputable award! Our activity coordinator Bethany Haig is a finalist in the South West Region for the The Great British Care Awards in "The Activity Organiser" category for 2024. The awards are taking place Thursday 14th November 2024 at Ashton Gate in Bristol. We look forward to sharing all the exciting updates with you at the ceremony tomorrow! #retirementvillage
