We are looking forward to attending the HIX Event LDN next week at the Business Design Centre here in London. On Thursday 28th November at 2pm, Richmond International's Principal FIONA THOMPSON, will join other industry experts for a panel discussion titled "The journey is the reward" discussing hospitality design in the new golden age of travel, hosted by Alys Bryan Managing Editor of Design Insider. As the travel sector enjoys a record-breaking 2024, major hotel groups are looking to capitalise with transport concepts that extend the hospitality experience beyond four walls. What does a new golden age of travel mean for the next generation of rail, cruise and aviation designs, and how will this change the guest experience? We look forward to seeing you there. #HIX Event

It was great to be back in New York with FIONA THOMPSON for the Global Hospitality Talk held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Boutique Design | BDNY and the NEWH UK product runway evening. It’s been a fantastic opportunity for us to meet a variety of influential global hospitality leaders, existing clients, potential clients, and the wide range of suppliers we collaborate with as Richmond International looks to build on our active projects in North America and Central American markets. Thanks as always to Can Faik and Lorraine Jack for the invitation to attend the Global Hospitality Talk, great knowledge shared and insightful panel discussions. Even managed to squeeze in the New York City Marathon! 🇺🇸 #hoteldesign #RichmondRichmond International #BDNY2024

Excited and impressed talking to the next generation of designers today at New Designers held at the Business Design Centre. Great to be able to discuss their final year degree projects and career aspirations, with my colleague Annabel Phillips who exhibited here as a student two years ago! Refreshing to see how environmental, social and economic factors have been woven in, or in some cases, the pillars of their design brief. #ND24 #Newdesigners Richmond International

Now she’s off on her maiden voyage, lets take a closer look at Cunard’s Queen Anne and the areas Richmond had the pleasure of designing. Richmond worked on the Britannia Club, the largest Britannia Club in the fleet, entertainment spaces the Royal Court Theatre, Room 1840 Casino and Bright Light Society, which is an exhilarating new show bar concept for Cunard, the wellness studio, which offers the widest selecting of facilities on a Cunard ship as well as the open decks. Led by creative director Adam D Tihany, Richmond worked alongside David Collins Studio, Sybille de Margerie - Interior Design and Double Decker on this exciting project.

Last night our team were on board for Cunard Queen Anne’s Inaugural VIP event ahead her maiden voyage on May 3rd. Richmond's principal, FIONA THOMPSON participated on a panel, hosted by Cunard’s VP of Brand and Product, Lee Powell, discussing the design of our interiors including the Britannia Club Restaurant, Bright Light Society Club, Royal Court Theatre and Open Decks. Queen Anne is the 249th ship to sail under the Cunard flag with a design steeped in the heritage of the brand but with a refined contemporary feel aesthetic and exciting new spaces. #CUN4RD #QueenAnne #CunardDreams #CruiseShip #HospitalityDesign
