The tireless efforts of the small Family Business UK team shone through last night at the House of Lords celebration of #familybusinessweek 👏 Here are some facts for you, (if you're interested) about the critical time the family business ecosystem is currently in. Sonder... a word that has been doing the rounds on social media this past week - and what a word it is... Coined by John Koenig in The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows (beautiful book!) it's a word that so eloquently captures the complexities, richness and hardships of every single person's life. So much of our work is about creating opportunities for us to get to know each other in less superficial ways - about uncovering the varying experiences, histories, and perspectives that sit around the table - and learning more about how this shapes our interactions and ways of working together.
