🎃 Did you know that 14 million pumpkins go to waste each Halloween in the UK? Often chosen for looks rather than taste, traditional pumpkins lack flavour, nutrients, and rot quickly after carving. But there’s a better option! At Riverford, we’re all about sustainable choices, so this Halloween, we celebrated with a squash decorating competition! Unlike pumpkins, squash are packed with flavour, loaded with nutrients, and can be stored for months. Not only did we see some incredible creativity from our co-owners, but we also encouraged everyone to cook up a delicious meal with their decorated squash—grown for bellies, not bins! 🚀 Exciting Opportunity: Range Development Manager – Sub & Seasonal! 🚀 We’re looking for a Range Development Manager – Sub & Seasonal to join Riverford and play a key role in keeping our food offerings fresh, vibrant, and deeply rooted in sustainability. In this role, you’ll develop and curate exclusive product ranges that elevate our core selection, blending creativity and innovation with the joy of good food. By introducing unique, exciting products, you’ll help more families embrace our ethos of "Living Life on the Veg." 🌱 Key Responsibilities: Develop exclusive product ranges ("Made for Riverford"). Introduce new categories, such as tea and coffee ("Discovered for Riverford"). Lead the management and expansion of seasonal ranges. Scope and deliver an updated recipe box and kit range. Oversee continuous improvements to our Recipe Boxes and Kits. Working closely with the Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams, you’ll ensure our offerings meet customer needs while staying true to Riverford’s mission of delivering sustainable, delicious food. You’ll also lead a dedicated team, combining operational focus with an eye on profitability. Skills & Experience: Product and team management, ideally in food retail. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. Operational focus with profitability insight. Creative and data-driven approach to decision-making.
