Rix has been a family-owned business for 150 years. With humble origins dating back to 1873 as ship owners, the Rix Group has evolved throughout the years, whilst still keeping our core values. We have a diverse and expanding portfolio of 20 different brands operating within the group, including shipping, maritime bunkering, petroleum distribution, fuel cards, Expense management solutions and many more! Now in its sixth generation, the group has recently moved its headquarters to an 'A grade' office development in Hull This state-of-the-art office space has been created to foster new ideas, and collaborative working and to attract people to visit and work in. Inspired by the stunning Two Humber Quays, the elf has crafted a miniature replica to take back to the North Pole – a little slice of Rix for Santa’s workshop! Our Elf on the Shelf has been busy spreading Christmas cheer this week! Here's the mischief he's been up to: He started the week helping us post our Christmas letters – who knows what surprises might arrive… He shot for the stars and became an astronaut, flying to new heights. He then got hooked on some holiday fun with a game of hook and duck. Our Elfazon delivery arrived in true festive style – guaranteed elf-approved. We have had an incredible morning with Hull & East Yorkshire Children's University and Stepney Primary School!
The year 1 class at Stepney Primary School had a fantastic Christmas morning all thanks to Rix Group. The Rix Group elves looked fantastic and took their elf roles very seriously. The children LOVED dancing with them and showing off their incredible dance moves! All the children demonstrated beautiful manners when receiving their gifts from Santa that had been thoughtfully selected and wrapped by the team at Rix Group. They were all over the moon with their presents. When it came to say goodbye you could see the impression the elves had made - one little girl even cried at the end as she didn’t want the elves to leave, exclaiming it’s been “the best day ever”. Thank you so much for making this magical morning possible Rix Group.
