Your help is needed now - this will take 2 minutes! ✍️ Drowning is one of the leading causes of child deaths, 125 child drowning deaths have occurred in the last four years. That's 125 too many! The Department for Education is reviewing the national curriculum. Swimming and Water Safety is currently within key stage 1 or 2. While it is very basic, at least children should be taught to swim and how to stay safe if they get into difficulty.
