It was a pleasure to work on this project with our valued and repeat customer Beard
Today we achieved practical completion on Shinfield pavilion and sports pitches, offering a community space, two football pitches and cricket square with associated changing facilities for players and officials. A great project well delivered by the site team of Andrew Keyne, Dominic Guerin-Dack, Nick Annand and Julian Sinfield. Thank you to Lisa Hedges who assisted with us exceeding our social value targets on the scheme. Had an interesting morning attending the Beard annual supply chain event in Swindon, it was good to catch up with old friends and meet some new people. We were delighted to come home with an award for “The Best Social Value Contribution” for the work we have done with Beard / Reading College and Activate learning with trialling apprentice bricklayers on a Beard site. We were suitably impressed with the enthusiasm and skills shown and all 3 have been invited to attend an interview. Be great if we can take them on and help to shape and develop them in their careers in the construction industry. Thanks to Reading College and Beard for helping to make this happen.

Roberts Brothers have just celebrated their 19th birthday as a Limited Company being registered on the 6th May 2005. Whilst lots of things have changed during this time, we are proud to say that many of our employees who started out their journey are still working and developing their careers with us. We pride ourselves in continuing to safely deliver the high quality demanded of us and being a preferred supplier to many Tier 1 contractors who we have developed great working relationships with over the years. Roberts Brothers are pleased to be able to announce the award of a new project from Hicks Developments in Upper Basildon. The works are for 3 detached houses with car "barns" overlooking fields in this lovely village. This comes fresh on the heels of wrapping up a similar scheme for Hicks Developments in Charvil. Good to be working with the same team again on this one.
