Rosedene Nurseries Christmas Mission: Spread the love this Christmas by helping families across #Teesside! 🎁 🫶 At Rosedene Nurseries, we believe in the power of #community. This year, our families, children, and team came together to collect over 120 Christmas bags filled with more than 600 items for the Teesside at Christmas appeal. It's been a pleasure to work with the wonderful local #charity, Teesside at Christmas, who help families in Teesside by providing food parcels and gift boxes to ensure no one wakes up without on Christmas Day. Road Safety Week 🚗🚦🦺 At Rosedene Nurseries, our little ones have been busy learning about the importance of road safety through fun and engaging activities. We've talked about the meaning of red, amber, and green lights, and the importance of holding hands with an adult when crossing the road. Teaching road safety is a key part of our safety learning, both on trips out and through in-setting activities like role play. By practicing real-life scenarios and exploring safety in creative ways, we help children build a strong understanding of how to stay safe. Did you know? Each year in the UK, around 1,000 children are injured in road traffic accidents, with many of these incidents occurring while crossing the road. This highlights the importance of teaching children about road safety from a young age to help reduce these risks 🦺 #rosedenenurseries #nurserylife #earlyyears #RoadSafetyWeek2024

World Kindness Day💞🫱🏼🫲🏼 At Rosedene, we celebrated World Kindness Day across all our nurseries, taking the chance to be a little kinder. Our children joined in with activities like crafting special gifts for loved ones, performing small acts of kindness, and visiting our friends at the care home. Teaching kindness from an early age is so important to us, helping children grow into caring individuals with empathy for others. This day was also for our wonderful teams, who enjoyed treats and positive affirmations to start their day on a high note 🌟 At Rosedene, everything we do is to help our children become "kind, curious, and confident, ready to shape the world"🌍👶🏻 #rosedenenurseries #nurserylife #earlyyears #worldkindnessday

EB Awareness Week 2024 💙🦋 We’re still in awe from our incredible #EBAwarenessWeek2024 events across Rosedene Nurseries! We came together to spread awareness and show our support for DEBRA UK. We were honored to end the week with a special visit from our amazing Louis and family, who bravely faces the daily challenges of EB. We couldn’t be more proud of his strength and resilience. 🌟 Our commitment to raising awareness for EB and supporting DEBRA UK continues until a cure is found. Rosedene is proud to be supporting DEBRA UK again for #EBAwarenessWeek 🦋💜 This week we hosted activities across our nurseries to help raise awareness about Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). EB is a rare genetic condition that causes the skin to become extremely fragile, leading to painful blisters and sores with even the lightest touch. Through hands-on and creative activities, we’re helping our little ones understand what EB is and how it affects other boys and girls like them. DEBRA UK, are an amazing charity dedicated to improving the lives of those with EB. 🦋 How DEBRA UK Makes a Difference: 💜Funding Research to find new treatments and drive discoveries for EB care. 💜Improving Care Standards by creating international guidelines for consistent and compassionate care. 💜Providing Development Grants to support EB professionals in growing their expertise. 💜Hosting EB Events to bring together families, scientists, and advocates for progress in EB support. We first learned about DEBRA’s incredible work when Louis, one of our Rosedene children with EB, joined us.
