Happy World Kindness Day 🥰 Kindness plays an important role in wellbeing and at the Hall, our Wellbeing Network are always trying to think of ways to incorporate it into activities. Some of these include: 🔸Encouraging new connections between colleagues through healthy breakfasts and games nights 🔸Promoting warmth and compassion in Paws in Work sessions (plus the dogs are cute) 🔸Focusing on self-care with mindfulness sessions and massages Incorporating kindness into our culture can create a ripple effect. This builds an environment where colleagues feel valued, supported, and connected which allows us to focus on creating breathtaking moments and lasting memories.

I've just signed this on behalf of the Royal Albert Hall. AI and creators can achieve great things together - but we do need to make sure that creative works are only used when properly licensed.

Adriel Elijah Miles, our Archive team and our EDI champions hosted a multimedia pop-up exhibition for Black History Month. The exhibition highlighted over a century of Black music history that's taken place at the Hall, from the MOBO Awards and London's first Caribbean Carnival to performances from jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone.

Twice a year we shut our doors for a week to undertake essential maintenance that keeps our 153 year old venue running 🛠️ Here’s a small glimpse into some of the work that went on.
