Giving back to our community 🐧🦒🦓 Earlier this year, the RCP London Events team had the wonderful opportunity to spend a day at The London Zoo, where they took part in key activities to support animal welfare and conservation efforts, and, of course, engaged closely with the animals! Supporting our community holds a special place in our values. That’s why, as part of our Giving Something Back policy, the team is entitled to an extra day off to volunteer with a charity of choice and dedicate time to causes close to their hearts. By working together to support meaningful causes, we contribute to a brighter, more sustainable future for all. 🔗Read Ana, Debbie and Barbara's thoughts on this experience in our latest blog post: https://ow.ly/rBGe50Uk3MF #RCPLondonEvents #GvingBackTuesday #LondonZoo

Creating an accessible experience for all visitors 👐 Being housed in a historic Grade I listed building carries many challenges, however as an organisation we prioritise seamless experiences for everyone attending events at our venue. ♿ Disabled parking spaces are available to pre-book and we provide a separate step-free entrance for an effortless access into the building ⬆️ Once inside the venue, two accessible lifts connect the ground floor to the first and second floors, while another lift provides access to the lower ground level, where general and accessible toilets, as well as baby changing facilities, are available 🎥 Our two auditoriums are equipped to accommodate a wide range of needs, with wheelchair access, dedicated seating areas for wheelchair users and flat stages that can be easily accessed by all speakers 🔊Assistive listening tool Mobile Connect is available throughout the venue to support visitors who use hearing aids, and we also offer a live captioning service to ensure an inclusive and engaging experience during events 🐕 We welcome guide dogs and hearing dogs When it comes to food, our catering options are equally as accommodating, with dietary requirements carefully considered and prepared for with advance notice; as part of our commitment to sustainability, we also encourage guests to choose meat-free options to reduce the carbon-foot impact of their events and promote wellbeing. From the enhancements in each room to the services offered, we regularly review every detail to create an environment where every visitor can feel included and supported throughout their time with us. #RCPLondonEvents #RoyalCollegeOfPhysicians #EventProfs #EventProfsUk
