Something different for a few members of the RSL NDT Ltd team as they spent an interesting and informative day at GSR Training Ltd just before Christmas carrying out a First Aid at Work course. Expertly delivered by Kelsey, the course covered a wide variety of topics on a theoretical and practical level and Ian, Carol and Theo all enjoyed the experience but also left far more knowledgeable. RSL NDT Ltd are always looking at ways to work safely, upskill and improve the confidence within the team and this course ticked all the boxes. RSL NDT Ltd ran a collection for Mrs Murray's Home for Stray Dogs and Cats, based in Aberdeen, as opposed to doing our traditional 'Secret Santa' to give a little bit back to the community. As you can see we got quite the collection and a big thumbs up to Carol for coordinating this 👍 👍 👍 The Home was founded as a place of refuge for stray and abandoned dogs and cats in the city and this continues to be the central role for the Home with nearly 1000 animals passing through its doors each year. Mrs Murray's also offers care / rehoming facilities and as a registered charity and is largely dependent on the support of the public to help fund the cost of looking after the animals. #givingback #teameffort #charity #csr Ian

Back in November, Ian spent a couple of hours with DYW North East and young people from all over the city talking through NDT and the opportunities that exist within our industry. He was honoured to be asked to judge a competition on ideas to improve the city centre for young people and was very impressed with the standard of presentation. All done with the support of the EY Foundation and Aberdeen Inspired RSL NDT Ltd are delighted to to participate in the 'Young Persons Guarantee' which is an initiative to connect every 16-24 year old in Scotland with an exciting opportunity.
