What an absolute honour to sponsor the ‘Wear Courageous’ category at last night's Foundation of Light (SAFC) Gala Awards Dinner, celebrating the achievements of those who have taken part in the foundation's life-changing programmes. Many congratulations to Regan Carter who won the Wear Courageous category. Over £80,000 was raised on the night to help the Foundation of Light (SAFC) to further its impact across the region. Sky Sports presenter David Jones and Sunderland AFC Live commentator Frankie Francis did a fabulous job of hosting and it was so inspiring to hear the stories of all of the very well deserving winners. Steve Cram and George Clark did a great job of the auction too! What a show from The Overtones and thanks to Super Kevin Phillips for accompanying Damien Todd on the stage to present the Wear Courageous award.
