Michael Westcott, co-chairman of Torquay United FC, visited #SALTEX2024 alongside Julian Gouldthorpe, Head Groundsman of Torquay United, to begin Julian’s Grounds Management Association Membership and explore new kit for the club. Reflecting on the event, Michael said: “Just walking around here, it’s amazing to see how much software is around now. The science behind turf care and even the standard of services in council and local authority amenities is phenomenal. The pace of change in tech and the skill set of grounds management people has improved down to education.
