Ever done this #OpsProfs? Such a good day celebrating Ops Nest Summer with beMatrix UK on Thursday at the phenomenal Sandbox VR UK & Ireland. From a robotic mixologist to Davy Jones locker via fully immersive VR in Squid Game, Deadwood Alley and Secrets of the Shard, we had an absolute blast with members and friends. With catering and drinks packages available and even a cocktail or two from our robot bartender, Toni. 🦾 Each of our eight experiences available combines full-body motion capture and high quality haptics to provide unprecedented realism, impossible with home VR systems or other location-based VR venues. Groups of up to six can transport themselves into their action movie, freely roaming the VR space as they enter exclusive virtual worlds and rely on each other to succeed in games designed to be social experiences. I have invested twice already in VR Entertainment (trading as Sandbox VR) and now we are crowdfunding to give all 160k people who have visited our venues in the past two years the chance to own a piece of the action. With sales of more than £6.5m, operating profit of £1.9m and an average 4.8/5 on Google reviews, the business has proven that visitors love it and that it can trade profitably. This raise will help the business expand further and faster across the UK and Ireland.
