𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 🙌❤️ Last week, SAQAYA celebrated a monumental milestone: the opening of our first office and tech delivery hub in Cairo, Egypt 🇪🇬. It was an absolute pleasure to have our SAQAYAN teams, clients, and partners join us in celebrating this incredible achievement 🎉. SAQAYA began as a dream over five years ago when three co-founders, Saif Fouda , Dr. Ahmed El Kalagy, and Mohamed Yassin Elshokeiry — all Egyptians who have lived in the UK 🇬🇧 for over 15 years — had an existential conversation about their ideal future. They envisioned a way to connect their roots in Egypt with their new home in the UK. The dream? To create a bridge 🌉 between both worlds, showcasing Egypt’s untapped potential while giving back through their experience in the UK. In 2023, that dream became a reality 🌟. And the tech talent Egypt possesses is the foundation of that vision 💻. The opening of this office in Cairo solidifies this dream, taking it from a notional vision to a tangible success 🔑. A special highlight was our interview with the incredible Walid Shabana, CTO of Rabbit, who shared his inspiring journey and experiences in Egypt’s booming tech scene 🚀. We were also honored by the support from our partners at Information Technology Industry Development Agency, ITIDA🎤. Their presentation on the immense tech talent and governmental support in Egypt 🇪🇬 was the perfect close to what was already an unforgettable day 🎂.
