📢Meet Rhodri Lewis, who joined the EDF Renewables Post-Graduation scheme and is currently supporting our Sales & Origination team. Rhodri is at the beginning of his career in renewables and solar PV, having graduated from university in 2022.🎓 During his time at university, he became fascinated by the Net Zero energy transition and the economic opportunities it presents. I volunteered at a community energy cooperative in 2023, specialising in rooftop Solar PV, and later worked there for a year. While focusing on fuel poverty alleviation, I also collaborated with the solar team, learning about technology and future projects. This experience deepened my desire to work in the sector, recognizing the connection between renewable energy, energy efficiency, fuel poverty, and our nation’s Net Zero goals. 🌱⚡ Outside of work, Rhodri enjoys a variety of sports, with surfing and tennis being his favourites. 🎾He is also a keen musician and has played in several bands in the past.♫ #ourpeople #sasenergy #whoweare

🚨Meet Angela Chance, a valued member of the SAS Energy team, who joined six months ago as a Project Support Buyer. In this role, Angela is responsible for sourcing quotations from suppliers, carefully assessing cost, reliability, and delivery efficiency before placing purchase orders. She also plays a vital role in supporting site supervisors with all procurement-related needs, ensuring projects stay on track and resources are delivered on time. Before joining SAS Energy, Angela gained valuable experience in the plumbing and heating sector, working in the commercial industry. There, she handled everything from obtaining quotes and placing purchase orders to managing the costs of on-site fabrications and taking on various administrative tasks.📋 Outside of work, Angela is am avid outdoors enthusiast.
