  • A Christmas Poem: Satcom's Silent Night On a crisp Christmas Eve, under stars shining bright, The satcom ground segment worked through the night. With dishes and panels all aimed to the sky, Receiving and sending where satellites fly.   Yet a trouble arose, an unwelcome affair, RF interference hung in the air. Grinch-like disruptions, it scattered the stream, Distorting the data, corrupting the dream.   Through spectral analysis, swift and precise, It cleared out the noise like ice off the ice. Resilient and agile, the systems stood strong, Ensuring the data kept flowing along.   The ground stations gleamed, their job now secure, Thanks to the tech that made signals pure. Santa’s command, from his base in the snow, Relied on these systems to map where to go.   And so, as the sleigh soared high in its flight, The satcom ground segment ensured all was right. Merry Christmas to techies, the keepers of peace, May your signals stay steady, your wonders increase! We will speak to you all in the New Year! Happy holidays! [Poem & image: ChatGPT]
