This remarkable resource supports life in countless ways, from providing nutrients for crops to storing carbon and filtering water. Yet, it remains one of the most endangered resources on our planet. 💡 Did You Know? - Over 95% of the food we eat depends on soil. - Healthy soils store more carbon than all the world’s forests combined. - One-third of global soils are degraded, threatening food security and biodiversity. 🚨 What Causes Soil Degradation? Deforestation, overgrazing, unsustainable farming practices, urbanization, and climate change are major drivers of soil loss.
