The Spirit of Jack Hicks - Scillonian Cider Brandy batch No. 002 is now in stock. There are only 48 bottles available in this very limited special edition Scillonian Cider Brandy. The Hicks family have run Westward Farm on St. Agnes since the 1600s where they still press the choicest apples, ferment and mature their premium dry cider. We then ship the cider barrels to St. Martin’s to be distilled into SC Dogs Scillonian Cider Brandy. Grown, fermented, distilled, aged and bottled entirely in the Isles of Scilly; the warm mellow notes of SC Dogs Scillonian Cider Brandy will keep out the cold of a wild and stormy night on St. Agnes. Couple of weeks ago we teamed up with GREAT CORNISH FOOD along with lots of Scillonian producers and did a bit of a store take over! Spent an amazing couple of days talking to potential stockists and also doing some tastings and cocktails!

SC Dogs White Rum featuring on James Martin's Saturday Morning on ITV today ! Below is the cocktail in which we featured ! Nordic Mojito 25ml    White Rum (SC Dogs works well!)
25ml    Aquavit
10-12   Fresh mint leaves (plus garnish!) 
20ml    fresh lime juice
15ml    rich sugar syrup
Top      splash of soda water Clap the mint leaves in your hands and add to a highball glass, add the lime, sugar and spirits and half fill the glass with crushed or cracked ice. Swizzle to incorporate the flavours. Add a splash of soda to taste and fill the glass to the brim with more crushed ice. Garnish with a few mint tips next to a straw for added aroma. https://lnkd.in/eReRTEyS

Whether that’s lifeboat crews launching at a moment’s notice, lifeguards patrolling our beaches, or our water safety teams sharing lifesaving skills at home and overseas, we’ve strived to save every one.
