🎉 Celebrating Two Years of the Regional Construction Framework with Ashe Group🎉 Ashe is committed to creating social value, contributing £77,000 in the first year of the framework. Recently, at Bedford Academy, the school children marked the milestone of their new two-storey building's construction by signing a steel frame section during a memorable ceremony. Ashe also provided the schoolchildren with a hands-on experience, showing them how the steel they signed is now an integral part of the building's structure 👷 Check out the recent steel signing event, we look forward to seeing further progress and greater social value delivered through the project. #TeamSCAPE #SocialValue #RCFAnniversary #Collaboration

Project Completion! ✔️ We were delighted to hand over the Planetarium and Science Centre Sherwood Observatory last week – one of the most unique projects we have ever undertaken! Due to open to the public today, this incredible project involved the transformation of a disused underground Victorian Reservoir into an education centre and cutting-edge Planetarium breathing new life into the historic building. It has been a pleasure to work with the team from MASAS (Mansfield & Sutton Astronomical Society) and we hope the new facility will inspire a new generation for many years to come. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey and we wish you every success for the future. Despite the chill in the air and snow this week, excitement is heating up at Sherwood Observatory! This upcoming world-class facility will feature a state-of-the-art science and discovery centre and a new planetarium ❄️🌱 Set to complete by the end of November, this transformation will position Sherwood Observatory as a leading hub for education and exhibition Delivered by our partners G F Tomlinson through the SCAPE Venture Framework, with project management by Pick Everard, this ambitious project is a testament to the power of collaboration. As Steve Wallace, Chair & Planetarium Project Manager, notes, "Successful projects require teamwork. This is particularly the case for an unusual and complex project like the creation of our Planetarium and Science Centre from a nearly 140 year old underground Victorian reservoir. As far as we are aware, this has never been done before and it would not have been possible without collaborative working between the Sherwood Observatory team, our main contractor GF Tomlinson, and the team at SCAPE" We can't wait to see how this facility will spark the imaginations of future scientists and engineers 🔭 #STEM #Innovation #Education #Collaboration #SherwoodObservatory Anotherkind Architects | HSP Consulting Engineers Limited | RSA Cosmos | ST Engineering | Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Society
