Hydrogen will play an important role in industry in the future. As a raw material, for example in the chemical industry, in the production of steel or as a storage medium for renewable energy, green hydrogen is a key element.
In order for hydrogen to fulfil its role in a climate-neutral future, it must be able to be produced in large quantities and at competitive prices. However, this requires cost-efficient electrolysers.
Schlötter is researching various coating systems to ensure that the material used in the production of hydrogen can withstand the process.
