Gladly, I've spent the last 2 days in the company of fellow sector professionals at #ISBL24 I wasn't going to post, as there have been many great posts from the event already, but I feel compelled to. As anyone who attends (or exhibits) at professional conferences will know, they're unavoidably exhausting 😴 Networking is intense! Listening to understand...learning...sharing; done right, with intent and commitment, is tiring, especially over two days. But it's indisputably gratifying, and I wouldn't change it 🤩 I'm very proud to have worked in education for over 25 years, and the shared purpose and unwavering dedication still drives and inspires me. Ours is a sector full of amazing professionals who are purpose-focussed and impact-driven. The weekend is always time to decompress and recharge, ready to go again next week, but I seem to find myself all fired up right now, my levels topped up from every brilliant conversation I've had at conference. It'll have to be my fuel for Monday morning. In the meantime, thanks to everyone for your company and time, and to tag but a few....
