Thank you Graeme Lawrie MBE FRSA FCCT. Lots here for us to reflect on and build into our CPD sessions on developing skills for partnership professionals (FREE to S.P.A. Members, Supporters and Champions) #StrongerTogether #PowerofPartnerships
📽️ Here they are - 5 new episodes about all things partnerships 🎞️ With the kind help of our partner film company inrehearsal, Christina Astin and all the amazing speakers (some of which are listed below) we have produced five 20 minute episodes. Our reason for this was clear. Over the last year or so, social media, the news and most education magazines have been full of chatter surrounding schools as charities, partnerships and bursaries. Quite often these articles seem to have little background research into the huge amount of work that goes on across state schools, independent schools, universities, industry and charities. At the same time I know that a number of my peers across the country are inundated with requests to meet, to discuss partnerships, with focus on how to start them and maintain them effectively. So ... the 'Power of Partnerships' boxset was born. I asked friends and colleagues if they could give up an afternoon of their precious time toward the end of term to visit a professional film studio and chat about how they started, the barriers and constraints, the impact of their work and their reasons for growing their partnerships provision. On a daily basis I am in awe of the work that passionate educators are doing in this space and wanted to share this more widely, showing how these collaborations can only be a good thing. So, five videos (that I binge watched again last night) with over an hour of valuable content to schools considering, doing and developing their partnerships: - 1. Making a partnership work. 2. How partnerships work. 3. The Impact of partnerships. 4. Why partnerships matter. 5. The future of partnerships. The full playlist is here: https://lnkd.in/dt8TXJ4k 📽️ As always this resource is free from copyright, so that they can be used as you see fit to promote and raise awareness of the possibilities of what can be accomplished. Ensuring that every child has the opportunity they deserve and need to flourish. 👏 A huge thank you to our speakers. A huge wealth of knowledge! 👏 🌟 Please reshare far and wide - let everyone know the real 'Power of Partnerships' 🌟 Independent Schools Council ISA Heads The Institute of Development Professionals in Education (IDPE) School Partnerships Alliance (S.P.A.)
