About us
Science Oxford, a Charity, is the public face of The Oxford Trust. Our mission is "to encourage the pursuit of science and enterprise". Founded by Sir Martin and Lady Audrey Wood in 1985, we work in the fields of science education, public engagement and high technology start up business support. Science reaches and touches every single one of us whether we are awaiting the latest iPhone, catching the common cold or feeling the warmth of the sun above us. We aim to inspire school children to pursue science, encourage businesses to invest in science and organise a wide variety of stimulating science events for families.
