Dependable delivery with a trusted team 🚛 This week, our #throwback project has been the Ellingham Hall case study, a restoration project that extended to include additional accommodation space for a newly created wedding venue. Scotframe helped to supply the timber frame kits for the three detached cottages and eight semi-detached homes, offering a dedicated, knowledgeable team with competitive pricing for all parts of the project. Our team was also an integral part of keeping this project running to schedule, with the orders being placed in December and on-site by the third week in May. Aidan's joinery team was very impressed with the process and quality of the kits. Scotframe also specified all the internal finishings with Scotframe, making the process more stress-free for the busy couple. This included skirtings and architraves, all made from solid oak as requested by the pair. Ellingham Hall, Alnwick 📍 In this #throwback project, Aidan and Helen Ruff took on the monumental project that was restoring the beautiful Ellingham Hall, a stunning building with an even more interesting back story. The couple spent a decade restoring the building to its former glory, with the aim to give it a new lease of life as a wedding venue 💒 And after taking on this huge job, the work didn't stop there. Aidan and Helen wanted to provide equally stunning accommodation space for additional guests to enjoy the venue in all its glory. And this is where Scotframe helped to take this venue to new heights, allowing for a further 120 guests to enjoy each couple's special day for even longer... Scotframe provided the timber frame kits for three detached cottages and eight semi-detached homes, all featuring reclaimed rural Northumberland natural stone from the local surroundings. Aidan was particularly focused on ensuring the new buildings seamlessly blended with local properties, with many guests believing that the buildings were restored, as opposed to new builds. After arriving on-site, this kit was erected in just five days 👏 Based on our standard 'Cannich' house type, the customer wanted just a few minor alterations to create this stunning build on the Isle of Barra 🏔 And we're pleased to hear we have another happy customer - and you can understand why with these stunning shots!
