On International Day of People with Disability, we’d like to share our app, BeMe. BeMe lets those giving care and support experience of what it feels like to be receiving care. It has four scenarios, including one for physical disabilities and one for visual impairment. We're working with NHS Education for Scotland (NES) to develop a new National Induction Framework for Adult Social Care staff. As induction is an important first step in the learning and development of new workers we want to make sure that the content is right. Can you take part in a focus group? We would like to bring together experienced and new workers to look at the proposed national induction and help us make sure that the learning experience is supportive, enjoyable and comprehensive.
