Sharing the gift of giving this Christmas! SeAH Wind is proud to support The Junction's Christmas appeal. Colleagues throughout the business have donated new/unwrapped toys, gifts for teenagers, non-perishable food, warm clothing, and toiletries as part of the appeal. The donation made by SeAH will help families who will face the difficult choice between heating their homes and a gift under the tree this year. Since launching the campaign three years ago, The Junction has supported thousands of families and individuals with cupboard essentials, Christmas gifts, warm clothes and blankets.

SeAH Wind reaches major milestone as first Steel Can is rolled inside the XXXL Monopile Factory! The 7.5-meter diameter steel can was rolled using our brand new roll bending machines from Hausler as part of the pre-production testing and operated by SeAH Wind staff under the supervision of the equipment manufacturer. Last week, we celebrated the first 11 cohort from Middlesbrough College, who have completed a 24-week bespoke training course designed to prepare them for the particular demands of welding work in the offshore wind sector. Since completing the course, the cohort have gained full time permanent positions at SeAH Wind. The successful candidates, who all had previous welding experience, were picked from over 100 candidates who had applied for a position on the course, run by Middlesbrough College in partnership with SeAH Wind. Lest We Forget. As a mark of respect, our employees across our SeAH Wind Ltd project at Teesworks paused for two minutes silence in honour of those who served. #Remembrance Day

SeAH Wind welcomes the news that negotiations between the UK & South Korea for a trade deal have resumed. With the roots of our business hailing from South Korea and a home here on Teesside we can see the benefits' investment can bring to the UK and South Korea. CEO of SeAH Wind, Chris Sunghwal, said: "It brings both myself, and that of SeAH Wind great comfort and pride to see enhanced relations between our two great nations. Our new XXXL Monopile foundation factory in the UK is a world class leading facility, bringing together the best of both cultures from South Korea and the UK. This is the start of a long and fruitful relationship for SeAH in the UK, and we firmly believe our journey and experience can be replicated by other South Korean companies considering the UK as their next investment destination."
