The winning drawings of the 'Sam the Snail' competition we ran earlier this year, have now been made into road safety signs! These will will be used to encourage people working on the Sellafield site to drive home safely 🐌 But...before we install the road signs on site, we wanted to make sure we got the seal of approval from our winning artists! James Millington, our interim environment, safety and security director, presented Remi (6 years-old), Ivy (6 years-old) and Emily (9 years-old) with replicas of their snail drawing road signs. James said: “It was great to finally meet the girls in person with their families and show them how their designs will ‘come to life’ in our new road safety materials. These are to remind us all, each day, of the importance of driving safely." We can't wait to see them installed on site in the new year! #safety #roadsafety #community #sellafield #nuclear
