🌟𝗛𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀! 🌟 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 From April 1st, the Growth Hub will be hosted by West Northants Council. The decision cements the presence of the Growth Hub, which has established itself as one of the leading providers of free and independent business advice across the region and enables South East Midlands Careers Hub to continue its work bringing careers education from the margins to the mainstream. Crucially, the Growth Hub will continue to act independently for the benefit of the entire South East Midlands. In the past 12 months alone, we’ve supported over 1,100 businesses, awarded over £1 million in funding and recently launched the second round of The Growing Innovation Fund. 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐄𝐏 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 2024! On April 1st, SEMLEP will formally transfer the responsibility for delivering the Local Enterprise Partnership activities to West Northamptonshire Council. Although this will see SEMELP cease trading, the move ensures the continuation of SEMLEP's Growth Hub, the South East Midlands Careers Hub and the strategic economic planning, which together have seen over £300M secured for the region. The transition also ensures that the Growth Hub, which provides free independent business advice, and the Careers Hub, which supports schools and careers leaders, can continue to act independently for the benefit of all six local authorities who make up the South East Midlands. Wow! What a fantastic morning in Luton for “Network & Learn: Find your finance for 2024” 🌟 Kelly Bowman hosted a Grant Application Masterclass 🌟 Bukky M. Babajide, Fergus McLardy, Nathan March and Kelly shared a regional funding overview 🌟 Nathan March hosted a panel of Funding Providers, including Julian Bowrey, Rob Purdie, Wayne Bell and Lewis Stringer, in a Q&A session where visitors could get the answers to their burning finance and funding questions We were also joined by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce, Metro Bank (UK), and the South East Midlands Careers Hub, to further showcase the variety of support available to all businesses throughout Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire.
