About us

Shack Events provide specialist bar support to major stadia and venues across the UK, such as Wembley Stadium, Principality Stadium and Edgbaston Stadium. Founded in 2013 by James and Rich Manning, we are an independent family-owned business who operate at over 300 events each year. Using the latest dispense and POS technology, we support contract caterers and venues in their quest to enhance customer experience and choice. We pride ourselves on the quality of our mainstream and alternative on-tap drink offerings, which allow us to deliver a fast and efficient bar service at concerts and sporting events. We pre-mix, keg and serve the following unique drinks from our range of versatile and innovative bars: > Cocktails > Gin serves > Spirits > Fizz > Pimms At the heart of our business is our core team. Highly experienced, enthusiastic and effective, we go above and beyond to tailor operations to suit each individual venue.

    This is what 26 pallets of Popcorn look like 🤯 ! I hadn't quite appreciated the scale & sheer volume of the popcorn orders we would be placing when we moved into confectionary operations back in 2023. It's a hugely exciting & fast-growing part of Shack Events, but managing the supply chain & logistics is one of 2025's fun challenges! We may need to follow the same steps we took to start making our own cocktail kegs back in 2018.... Popcorn popping at HQ in our lovely new warehouse?? 🧐 hmmm... Onwards & Upwards. Let's go!

  • 💯 Prepped, packaged and ready to go!! 🚛 The team at HQ are back and ensuring EVERY bar, piece of equipment and product is fully serviced, checked, packaged and ready to be transported to our venue partners across the UK as they head out to begin our huge 2025.

  • Lots to be proud of in 2024 but excitement is building for an even bigger 2025!!! 👊 Whilst many debate the effect of Microsoft Teams on how a modern office works, it has been a fantastic tool to take time out and come together each month to have the opportunity to share and celebrate wins and achievements within the business- as a team! The strength of the Shack Team is our superpower and the joy in other's success has been empowering. Great things are happening at Shack Events and as we take this time of year to look back at the huge progress and growth in 2024 with pride, the overriding feeling is that of excitement for what 2025 will bring. BRING. IT. ON!!!

  • 👋 Meet the team: William Elt, People Operations Manager at Shack Events. As our staff take the opportunity to have a hard earned break over the festive period and we focus on all they have achieved in 2024, we thought it would be great time to introduce Will who, beginning in the New Year, will be responsible for leading all casual staffing in the day to day operations at Shack Events. With several hundred casual staff and the business continuing to grow, Will is a vital member of our People Team. Brenna Campsie, Head of People: "Will has immense compassion for our staff and in his new role he will lead from the front on all things recruitment for the busy season ahead- as well as managing the training rotas for our core casual team to ensure we have the strongest possible team for next summer. He's such a big personality in the office and always goes the extra mile to make everyone feel special and included." 🍾 What does your current role at Shack entail? Ensuring that our staffing needs are met across Shack Events venues while making sure worker satisfaction, engagement, and retention are a top priority.   🍾 When did you join Shack Events? I re-joined in December 2022, having spent a few of my summers growing up working with Rich and James when Shack Events first started. 🍾 Your background/experience before joining the business? Operational Experience Running a National Rugby Programme.   🍾 What you enjoy most about being part of Shack? The culture and togetherness of the group here. It's not something you get everywhere!   🍾 What do you enjoy away from work? Socialising and staying active keeps me busy away from work   🍾 Can you tell us an unexpected or interesting fact about yourself? Any spare time I get, I'm usually trying new cooking recipes. It's a big passion of mine.
