  • Christmas, a time for loved ones, food, carols and extra opportunities for cybercriminals. With Christmas only a week away, we have come up with some helpful tips on having a cyber-safe Christmas: 🚨Notification Fatigue Receiving so many notifications can cause decision fatigue, Cybercriminals take advantage of this by repeatedly spamming you for access to an account. 💳Gift Card Scams Gift card purchases cannot be tracked. If cybercriminals gain access to your money, there is no way to get it back. Only purchase and use gift cards with the authorised retailer. 👪Spending time with loved ones Cybercriminals will offer too-good-to-be-true fake holiday packages and flight deals to gain access to your credit card, especially in the holidays. Be aware of these deals and purchase them only from authorised retailers. 📩More Emails, More Problems Keep an eye out for fake vouchers, unbelievable promotional deals, or even fake delivery notices sent by cybercriminals. Always remember to stop, look and think before clicking on links to avoid being caught out.
