Good companies doing good things Yesterday we took delivery of a donation from Shoezone Retail Limited 40 large cartons full of new shoes All banded in pairs and sorted by kids/women’s/men’s sizes In terms of the current U.K. demand for the service we provide, the cold weather, and the requests for practical footwear we’re receiving daily - trainers, winter boots, wellies, slippers and LOTS of school shoes, this is one of the most well timed donations we’ve ever received Our stars aligned 💫

We had a huge donation from Shoezone last week! We wanted to say a big thank you to shoezone for always keeping us stocked up on shoes and socks for our guests, and making sure that we always get the sizes that we need. While shoezone helps us keep our shelves stocked, our community's growing needs mean every donation counts. Each pair of shoes helps someone walk confidently toward a brighter future. #donation #charitywork

This vehicle will make a world of difference, helping to support services to patients and their families across our community. Your kindness and support will make a huge difference to the Hospice and the people we care for. We are pleased to share that prior to Christmas we donated almost 3,500 pairs of unworn kids shoes to Sal's Shoes to help with their school shoes fund, which they then distributed to children in need throughout the UK. Our annual Christmas food collection was a big success in December! We collected a total of 611 items, including a variety of Christmas treats which enabled The Bridge Homelessness to Hope to create a Christmas hamper for every guest. This donation made a big difference to many without a home, or family at Christmas, and we’re pleased to say The Shoezone Trust is match funding the number of items collected!

We've seen some fantastic Christmas jumpers this year, at both our Head Office and stores! And lots of money has been raised along the way which will be donated to The Bridge Homelessness to Hope 🎅🎄 Our Chief Executive may have forgotten to wear his jumper...but we made sure he paid his fine!

We love to share positive news about charities we are proud to support! Cord is just one of those charities. Meet Mrs Champopat Phuthiphophuwan, a dedicated single mother of two, living in Thailand. As a Woman Environmental Defender (WED), she stands at the forefront of protecting her country’s natural resources from exploitation by mining and plantation companies. In her journey, Champopat joined one of Cord’s projects, where she received training in natural resource management. Today, she promotes indigenous women’s small businesses, where they sell sustainable herbal medicines and natural dyes.
