Signapse is a Sign Language translation software company that uses Generative AI to achieve photo-realism and accuracy to provide greater accessibility for the Deaf community. Broadcast media, announcements in public spaces, and websites can be inaccessible if you are a sign language user and it is our job to make sure your organisation provides great access for Deaf people. All of the world’s digital information currently exists in a written and audible format. Signapse won’t stop until all this information is automatically available in Sign Language.

While some in the industry believe that AI will replace human translators in just three years, we at Signapse see things differently. AI is a powerful tool for accessibility, but it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution—especially for sign languages, where cultural context and emotional nuance are critical. At Signapse, we’re not here to replace interpreters but to complement their vital role by bridging accessibility gaps where live interpretation isn’t feasible. For the Deaf community, having access to accurate, context-aware AI translations in sign language means greater independence and inclusion. We believe in a future where AI and human expertise work hand-in-hand to ensure everyone can communicate effectively, with respect for language and culture.
