Share your best energy efficiency tips for a chance to become a game designer for Cadent Games, a children’s educational hub with life lessons on carbon monoxide, road safety and much more, through the wonderful world of Minecraft. Our new game will focus on energy efficiency, and we need your help to come up with some creative energy saving tips! Children can enter, with their parents supervision, using our competition page on the Fun Kids website - funkidslive.com/safety Competition closes 12pm on 24th November. The top three winners will get: ⭐Invited to Skewb Climate headquarters to help design our Energy Efficiency game ⭐Create their own character in the game ⭐Win Minecraft LEGO. Cadent Games is an educational tool for children to learn important safety advice in a fun and engaging way. Our games, created in partnership with Skewb, will be available to access at home or teacher-led in the classroom.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Cadent Games! You can step into Minecraft and dive into our educational games, designed to teach valuable life lessons—like carbon monoxide awareness and road safety—in a fun, interactive way. They’re available for both at-home play and teacher-led classroom sessions, the Education Hub offers a range of games packed with essential safety advice from the gas industry. Today, we had an amazing time showcasing the games, with lots of children exploring, learning, and having fun! This initiative is all about engaging our communities to make them safer. We had a great day at Surrey County Council's Safety Day, held at Woodhatch Place, where we were supporting Cadent Gas Limited   We were able to showcase our Minecraft Children Travelling Responsibly game with the staff and we got really positive engagement from all who stopped by. As usual there was lots of interest around the game and it was great to see a proactive council looking at how they can engage their county around Streetworks safety and other positive initiatives. Big thanks to Jack Lee CMIOSH and his team for making us all feel really welcome.   Excited to see where this takes us, and really positive to see the utilities industry and councils developing closer ties to help and engage with residents and staff.
