Following the success of our last roof post, we are excited to showcase another rolling roof system—this time supported by traditional tube and fitting. Skill Scaffolding has been working with our client, GPF Lewis plc on a project at Farnborough College of Technology to provide a temporary roof structure that ensures all-weather protection while our client removes RAAC concrete and installs a new, permanent structure. Skill also provided a full design package, courtesy of PSD Designs …including over 500 square meters of full protection birdcages, along with our usual weekly health and safety inspections. #weareskill #scaffolding #construction #education #infrastructure #develpment #roof

With the snow falling ❄️❄️☃️☃️.. we thought it would be a great excuse to use our #ThrowbackThursday to show our old building of Skill house back in the day before we moved to our big HQ! Something about snow … makes everything seem magical! … and of course … it’s a great opportunity to give a safety reminder working in cold weather 👍🏼 Please remember to drive safely, make extra time for journeys, there may be roads closed or more risks due to weather, try to avoid streets and stick to main roads. Always check your tyres and use head or side lights. Wear your hivis clothing and all protective wear and grip boots. Make decisions as a gang if the weather is safe to work in or not ? Remove snow and ice off scaffolding or equipment before using and use your guardrails and slip resistant boards! Please enjoy the beautiful scenery but please stay safe and warm ! ☃️☃️❤️❤️
