Developed by a diverse panel of 19 experts in wound care, the Consensus Statement is an up-to-date practical guide for health-care providers managing patients with VLUs. A worthwhile read: 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐨-𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚 leg ulcers and 𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 ulcers represent distinct yet overlapping challenges in wound care. Despite their differing aetiologies, both conditions benefit significantly from interventions that enhance lower limb blood flow and reduce oedema. Swift Medical has announced its new "Skin & Wound 2" platform, which includes advanced features and uses artificial intelligence technology to provide accurate and equitable wound care for all patients. Sky Medical Technology announced findings that its Geko device, a wearable that stimulates blood flow, increased wound healing probability by 68% and reduced overall average expenditure for the NHS on VLU wound management by 15% per patient. It is estimated to potentially save the NHS up to £420m annually. VANTIQ along with Telemedicine Solutions, LLC, and NTT DATA have collaborated to launch Wound AI, a real-time clinical decision support platform designed to improve wound-care treatment. The platform integrates with EHRs and utilizes AI to provide precise wound care recommendations and conduct real-time quality assurance checks. Sonoma Pharmaceuticals has entered into an amendment to its distribution agreement with a global healthcare distributor for the marketing and distribution of its wound care products in Canada Paragon 28 financial woes continue as an additional class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of investors of Paragon 28, Inc. for misstating financial statements and lacking internal controls. SANUWAVE implemented a 1-for-375 reverse stock split, reducing their outstanding shares and simplifying their cap structure. A $10.3 million equity-only PIPE offering was also closed, led by institutional investors.
