Yesterday, we celebrated a milestone as Smart Works Scotland, as we held our official launch morning for our new Edinburgh Centre! 🎉 We were thrilled to bring together our wonderful community to celebrate the expansion of our service and continued commitment to empowering women across Scotland. This move has been a game-changer for us, allowing us to double the number of women we can support across the region. ✨A huge thank you to everyone who attended and made the morning so great, your energy and enthusiasm created such a buzz. She got the job!! Well done to our client Sarah* who recently got the job after visiting our Edinburgh centre. We loved seeing Sarah again last week for her second dressing with us 💙 When asked for feedback about her time at Smart Works Scotland, she said that she loved being listened to, being made to feel comfortable and being approached by the lovely team. Well done!!

We are bringing a limited-time pop-up retail experience to Buchanan Galleries! 🎉 When: 6th–9th February, 10am-5pm Where: Buchanan Galleries, Glasgow. The pop-up shop will be located on the ground floor Use Fashion as a Force for Good, and shop new, and pre-loved designer and high-street pieces for up to 75% off RRP, all whilst supporting women into employment. We can't wait to see you there 💙

We are Back Open! Smart Works Scotland is officially back open after the Christmas holiday, and we hope you all had a restful break. We can’t wait to continue to support more women into work in 2025! 🌟

She got the job ⭐️ Join us in congratulating Antonella who got a job after just 2 and a half weeks of her initial appointment with us. When asked how the appointment made her feel, Antonella said she felt much more confident. Well done from everyone at Smart Works Scotland 💙

Thanks to our partner Sigma Capital Group Limited and our Big Give Champion The Monday Charitable Trust for making this appeal possible. We are extremely grateful for everyone's generosity in helping us to raise this amount, and helping us continue our mission of supporting women into work 💙

We loved being one of St Andrews University's charity partners and we are so impressed that the students in the Charities Campaign Team raised an incredible £20,674 in the last academic year, for Smart Works Scotland!   We really enjoyed getting involved with the university, running a fashion sale on campus in Freshers Week, appearing at their 3rd sector careers fair, contributing clothing to their charity Fashion Show and speaking at a Sustainable Fashion event. And we were blown away by their sponsored challenges from hitch hiking across Europe to the Moroccan Atlas mountain trek.   We have been so inspired by the hard work, creativity, energy and dedication that the Charities Team put into their fundraising. Every pound they raised will help Smart Works Scotland empower more women with the confidence, clothing, and coaching they need to connect with their potential, get the job and change their lives. Thank you to everyone at St Andrews University for your amazing support.   If you would like to consider Smart Works Scotland as your charity partner of the year, please do get in touch scotland@smartworks.org.uk
